This cat is a great cost effective replacement to the cats that go bad on these Tacomas. Exhaust shops tend to charge a lot of money for even a weld in cat. From our experience, to avoid catalytic converter damage, use higher grade fuel and do not use the lowest octane fuel at the pump.
