Suzuki Samurai Mixture Control Valve Jet Check Valve
If your Samurai carbureted engine warms up and then stalls or quits running, this could be the problem. Often with these symptoms, people will tell you to replace the mixture control valve solenoid. However, those are nearly $200 to replace. Make sure to check this inexpensive option first.
You can check your Mixture Control Valve Jet Check Valve by blowing in one direction or by using a vacuum gauge on the other end. It should function like a one-way check valve. If you find that air easily moves in both directions, replace it.
Fits all Carbureted Samurais with Hitachi Carburetors.
Note: Some Canada Models have AISIN Carburetors.
