King 2.5" 8" Stroke Bypass Piggyback Reservoir Shock Set | 3-Tube | Type 1
King Bypass Shocks are the industry standard for off-road racing shocks and are essential for getting the most performance from your Modular Long Travel system. Why do you need bypass shocks on your Long Travel build? Bypass shocks vastly improve the performance of off-road vehicles by allowing for separate tuning of compression and rebound zones. This allows you to adjust the shock rates to match your driving style, terrain, and the size and weight of your vehicle. The shocks are completely rebuildable, tunable, & adjustable. They are the same ones we use on the All-Pro Tacoma Modular Long Travel build.
This bypass shock set is comprised of (1) PR2508-BP3P-1 LH & (1) PR2508-BP3P-1 RH shocks. The valving is optimized for high-leverage Lower Control Arms used in our Modular Long Travel kit (see valving chart in the images above).
Tuning is easy, just adjust the compression and rebound screws a quarter turn at a time, take you test drive, and repeat as needed. Still need help getting the perfect bypass tune? King offers a wide range of tuning & rebuild services both at their factory and events around the country.
