Sky-Man OTS Cross Over / Histeer Kit
Are you running a spring-over-axle and hate your steering? Drop pitman arms are not enough, and z-links can still allow bump-steer and is constant hassle. In this crossover or “high-steer” kit, Sky uses massive Toyota FJ-80 Land Cruiser tie rod ends for the mounting points to the steering arms, almost 50% larger than weaker Suzuki ends. Weak tie rod end joints is the most common failure of many of the major “OTT” steering kits out there. They use smaller tie rod ends not built to take the pressure of off-roading and larger tires. Toyota FJ-80 joints also offer more deflection than that of other tie rod ends, so this gives you peace of mind when using them on a super flexy suspensions. Using Toyota ends also gives us the advantage of adjustable steering linkage, unlike other standard Right Hand thread only kits on the market. Both kits can be installed in under an hour with no modifications needed, fully bolt-on and adjustable. The new steering arms are machined from solid billet steel and bolt right into exicting mounts on your knuckle where the brake calipers bolt to. This is the strongest and safest place to mount to. Made to work with spring over axle kits, 4.5” of lift on up to and above 8” with your stock Samurai or Sidekick Pitman arm and more lift with a drop pitman arm.

Full OTS Cross Over / Histeer Kit (Pictured)
Complete replacement of all steering links with new ones over the top of your springs and includes both Stage 1 and Stage 2 kits. Parts includes 2 new arms, drag link and tie rod and all 4 rod ends.

Sky Z-link Steering
Kit
Although not as good as the "OTS" steering kits,
a Z-link can get the job done. Made from .219 DOM Tube. Mandrel
bent for exact and strong bends. The pitman arm side is machine
tapered the to allow use of a NEW Samurai tie rod end. The
opposite female end is a new CNC machined blank from billet
steel. Also added are gussets for extra protection and strength.
What does all this mean? It means the best z-link on the market
with no core charge. Uses all new parts, thus saving you money
and hassle. Good for up to 4.5" of lift. Perfect for
a SPOA kit.

Toyota Axle to Suzuki Box High Steer Kit
For those running Toyota axles this is the steering solution you will need if you are running a Samurai or Sidekick Steering Box inside the Frame. The drag link is built to mate up to the Samurai or Sidekick steering box. Kits come with Toyota 4140 billet steel arms, FJ-80 tie rod ends, .250 wall 1.250 DOM tube, and 23 mm jam nuts. Some other companies are selling cast steering arms in the Suzuki to Toyota kits, ask before you buy as you can get better quality billet parts for the same price. Also these arms are shorter than competitors arms, the reason for this is retain full steering radius. Your Samurai pitman arm is much shorter than the stock Toyota pitman arm, thus you need a shorter arm on the axle to work with the Samurai box. Make sure this kit will work for your setup, we know it will not work with some coil kits.

Large Capacity Power Steering Reservoir
When installing a high flow pump such as the one listed above, it is important to use a larger reservoir to provide enough fluid when the system needs it. The sock reservoir is fine for the stock pump but is not adequate for the TC style aftermarket pumps. Side input of reservoir is a #6 JIC fitting and the bottom outlet to pump is a #10 JIC fitting. Reservoir includes cap.

Rock-Assault Ram Steering Kits
The Rock-Assault Ram Steering assist kit is the best kit you will find anywhere! Our kit features a 6" X 1.5" stroke hydraulic ram with high temp inner and outer seals for long life and no leaks. Our specially designed ram features a 3/4" rod that is 50% stronger then other 1/2" rods on the market.
Our specially formed, easy to install brackets make installing our kit a breeze. If you have looked at other kits on the market, you will see they either don't include mounts or they just provide generic tabs. Our mounting hardware is specially designed to fit either the Samurai or the Toyota axle and High Steer kits. Once the steering box has been tapped, installation of the ram takes about one hour.
Each bracket is formed from heavy-duty 1/4" plate steel for extra strength. Included with each ram kit: Ram with high temp inner and outer seals, 5/8" rod ends w/jam nut, Ram bracket for axle housing, Ram bracket for tie rod, (2) Hoses and (2) JIC 90 degree elbows, Mounting Hardware, and Instructions w/photos.

Additional Application Notes: Adding a ram assist steering to a vehicle with the stock sidekick power steering pump will slow the steering noticeably. While it will take less steering wheel effort to turn the wheels, but it will take a little longer time to to turn the wheels, especially at low engine rpm's. The larger the ram bore then more noticeable the slowness becomes. If you are planning to use the stock Sidekick power steering pump we recommend using the 1.5" ram. We strongly recommend using a high volume/pressure "TC" style pump when either ram but moreso when using 2" bore rams.

1/4" pipe to #6 JIC Fitting for Hydro Assist Tapping
If you are going to be doing the tapping of your Sidekick or Toyota IFS steering box yourself, these are the fittings you are going to need to complete the Hydro Assist Kit. The fitting has a male 1/4" pipe fitting on one end and male #6 JIC fitting on the other end. Two fittings are required for each steering box conversion.

Steering Fluid Cooler
If your running a high volume/pressure pump your system is generating much more heat then the stock system. Fluid overheating can cause damage to steering pump and steering box. Installing a oil cooler in front of the radiator is the best way to prevent this over heating. Our cooler features a fin area of 9" X 8" and does a great job of keeping the steering fluid temps under control in all conditions. Mounting kit sold separately.

Pinion / Castor
Shims
Caster angle has alot to do with many steering issues you may have. Most just worry about thier pinion angle in the front but you have to deal with your caster angle first and pinion angle second. You genarally want 2-5 degrees positive caster. Tha means the top of your tire is angled toward the fire wall. For the rear you have to set your pinion angle differently for the type of driveshaft you are running. These solid steel angle shims are your ticket to safe and vibration free driving.
Available in 2" for Samurai 2.25" for Toyota, or 2.5" for YJ widths and 3, 5, or 7 degree sizes.

Panhard Bar
A "must have" for every spring over axle suspension.
The Panhard Kit is a bolt-on product that provides lateral
stability for your front Samurai axle. This will eliminate
the common effects of the spring over axle suspension such
as axle wobble at critical speeds and loss in steering radius.
Best of all, it improves off-road performance. Many people
have said that with this kit installed, their Samurai handles
as tight as a race car!
In addition to providing lateral stability, the Panhard Kit
also has integrated bump stop mounts into the u-bolt plates
provided and works with the factory upper bump stop setup.
3-piece chromoly rod ends (40,000 lb. radial load) to withstand
the toughest off-road abuse. Custom square u-bolts attach
the upper link mount to the chassis so no welding is required.
